Trip to Fresno and Kingsburg May 2003

We drove up to Kingsburg again this year to celebrate the Swedish festival and so Sandy could stop by the button convention in Visalia.  We had a chance to visit with Karen and Reen, Pat's nieces from Fresno.  Pat even got to drive Karen's new tractor.

The drive between Los Angeles and the central valley is called the grapevine.  Because of the late spring rains, the hills were covered with flowers.  We have never seen anything like that.
